Massive Turnout in Funeral Shows Firm Determination to Continue Martyred Leader’s Path: Iraqi Scholar

IQNA – President of the Association of Iraqi Sunni Scholars Sheikh Khaled al-Mulla highlighted the message of massive participation in funeral processions for martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

The message that must reach the American and Zionist regimes is that these millions of mourners will not remain silent until they take their revenge, and the widespread public participation shows the firm determination to continue the path of martyr Khamenei, Sheikh al-Mulla said, Al-Ahed News reported.

Martyr Seyed Ali Khamenei faced two great powers in the world and is “a unique historical figure” due to his presence and influence on the course of events in the region, he stated.

The Iraqi cleric added that the popular unity shown in the funeral procession attended by millions of people “has become a force to confront the enemies” and the masses sent clear political messages about their continued adherence to the option of resistance.

He considered the crowd participating in the funeral ceremony of the martyred Imam to be an indication of the level of public support for this approach.

Sheikh al-Mulla emphasized that the widespread public participation indicates a firm determination to continue the path of martyr Khamenei.

He also said that the sincerity of the martyred Leader was one of the most prominent reasons for his steadfastness alongside the people and his nation.

This sincerity has played a role in establishing his place in the hearts of his followers and devotees, Sheikh al-Mulla went on to say.
