Meeting of Religious Scholars Held in Lebanon in Commemoration of Martyred Leader
The participants highlighted the scientific, religious and jihadi personality of the martyred Imam and emphasized the continuation of the path of resistance that was advocated by him.
Speakers explained the dimensions of the scientific, jihadi and leadership personality of the martyred Leader and the impact of his thoughts and positions on developments in the region and the Islamic world.
Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, vice chairman of the Supreme Islamic Council of Lebanese Shias, stated at the ceremony that after the martyrdom of Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei (RA), the Islamic Republic of Iran is no longer the same Iran it was before, adding that today, Iran is at the beginning of a new stage of power and authority.
Iran is beginning a new chapter in confronting the West and the challenges it poses to the world, he said, emphasizing that the United States relies solely on power and force to impose its demands on nations.
Sheikh Al-Khatib also referred to the deep intellectual, religious, and moral influence of Iran’s leadership among the Iranian nation, Arab and Islamic nations, and the free people of the world, and said although the Islamic Ummah lost a great leader, in return, religion, morality, and a new future have been gained for Ummah, the effects of which will soon be apparent.

He further said Iran is standing against the world's greatest hegemonic power today.
Another speaker at the meeting was Sheikh Zuhair Ja'eed, Vice President of the Lebanese Muslim Scholars' Association.
He announced the association’s firm opposition to the framework of negotiations between the Lebanese government and the Zionist regime, saying America has never been a mediator, but rather a full partner in shedding the blood of the nations of the region.
He also emphasized adherence to the path of the Islamabad negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, saying Lebanon will never retreat from its sovereignty and will not give up even a single inch of its territory.
Ibrahim Shaheen, Head of the Orthodox Spiritual Court of Tripoli, also addressed the meeting, condemning the assassination of the martyred Imam Ayatollah Khamenei and describing it as a crime against human and religious values.
At the end of this meeting, Seyed Ali Hejazi, representing the Islamic seminaries, explained the scientific, moral, and jihadi virtues of the martyred Imam Khamenei, emphasizing his prominent role in the developments in the region and the Islamic world.
