Mohammad Baqer Khorramshad made the remark in a meeting with a number of Kuwaiti women visiting Iran, adding that culture is the main element of the Islamic Revolution’s strength.
He underlined the special status of cultural activities in the Islamic Republic of Iran and said the ICRO manages the country’s cultural diplomacy aboard.
Khorramshad further underscored the need for cultural relations and interactions among elites in the Muslim world.
He referred to the outstanding progresses of the Islamic country in the fields of science and technology, voicing Iran’s readiness to exchange scientific and cultural experiences with other nations, especially Muslim countries.
The ICRO chief also highlighted the Iranian constitution’s progressive laws in support of women’s rights and stressed the constructive role of women in Iran’s scientific advancements.
The Kuwaiti delegation included a member of parliament and a number of cultural and art activists, authors, and researchers.
Iran’s cultural attaché in Kuwait Abbas Khameyar and director general of ICRO’s Women and Family Department were also present in the meeting.
