Islam-Christianity Dialogue Planned in Bosnia

Iranian Cultural Center in Bosnia and Herzegovina will organize the first edition of a dialogue between Islam and Christianity on January 14, 2014.

According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, “Approaches to Reach Mutual Understanding between Islam and Christianity” is the title of this edition of the dialogue.

The Center for Interfaith Dialogue of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) will also cooperate to organize the program.

Developing friendship, solidarity and mutual understanding among followers of Divine religions, establishment of the language of dialogue between Muslims and followers of other faiths, resisting against the current threats and taking joint stances are among the objectives of the dialogue.

The program will focus on the importance of mutual understanding, and its role in coexistence of religions, the necessity of understanding between Islam and Christianity and creating a common religious literature between the two religions.
