Amir Al-Muminin (AS) Translation Center to Be Founded in Najaf

A translation center named Amir Al-Muminin (AS) is being established in the holy city of Najaf to spread Alavi teachings.

According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) Holy Shrine, the Astan’s cultural and ideological department is establishing the center.

Sheikh Ali Al-Shukri, head of the department, said the center aims to promote the teachings of Imam Ali (AS) in different languages.

He said when others learn about the virtues of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), they will follow the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

Sheikh Thaer Al-Baghdadi, another official with the Astan, described the establishment of the translation center as a necessary step to introduce the ideas and thoughts of Amir Al-Muminin Ali (AS) to the world, especially to the West.

The translation center is in the final stages of construction and will be launched in the near future.
