Quranic Works Festival Planned

A festival of Quranic works is scheduled to be held in February next year in Tehran.

Hossein Behboudi, director of the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization’s institutes and provinces department made the announcement in an interview with IQNA, adding that the Union of Grassroots Quranic Institutes will organize the event.

He said Quranic works and the cultural products of Quranic institutes from across the country will be assessed and the top ones will be presented at the festival.

According to the official, Quranic calligraphy works, Quranic books, magazines, and digital media products are among the works to be presented at the event.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Behbudi pointed to the programs of the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization for the next few months and said they include holding educational workshops and publishing Quranic books.

He added that the organization’s experts regularly assess the activities of Quranic institutes across the country.
