Islamophob Principal Punished In Kyrgyzstan

The principal of the Temirov High School in Issyk-Kul district (Kyrgyzstan), who forbade a Muslim girl to attend classes in hijab, received a disciplinary sanction in the form of reproof, press service of the ombudsman of the country reports.

"The principal had violated several constitutional regulations: obstruction from getting general compulsory education and the right of religious freedom. For violation of constitutional norms and moral harm of the student, the director received a disciplinary sanction in the form of reproof",  the press service reports.

The same situation occurred this year in the school number 91 in Bishkek.

Currently, the ombudsman considers similar statements from another nine schools of the country, the press office of the Ombudsman reports.
