Zionist regime’s fighter jets bombed areas in the Gaza strip on Thursday, January 16.

Security and hospital sources in Gaza said at least 5 Palestinians were injured in the attacks yesterday morning, Ma’an news agency reported.

Four of the injured were women and the other one was a child, the sources said.

The Zionist aircraft had also attacked the coastal enclave on Monday, January 13.

These attacks are conducted while Gaza is under siege. The strip has been blockaded by the Zionist regime since June 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standards of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.

The apartheid regime of Israel denies about 1.7 million people in Gaza their basic rights, such as freedom of movement, jobs that pay proper wages, and adequate healthcare and education.
