Iranian Cultural Week Planned in Tunisia

Iranian cultural attaché in Tunisia announced that the Iranian cultural week will be held in this country on the occasion of Fajr Ten-Day Festival.


According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, the organization of the week was discussed at a meeting attended by Sadeq Ramezani Golafzani, the Iranian official and Faeqeh Al-Awani, director general of the international relations section in Tunisian Ministry of Culture.



Al-Awani said that the cultural relations between the two countries will be promoted in the near future and announced that the ministry will cooperate with the Iranian center to hold the week.



He also expressed hope that the week will provide a good opportunity for various groups of Tunisian people to get acquianted with the Iranian culture and civilization as well as the achievements of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.



Exhibitions of calligraphy, visual arts, handicrafts and photos of the Islamic Revolution, traditional music and scientific forums will be among the programs planned for the week.



 Institutes affiliated to the Tunisian Ministry of Culture and the Higher Education Ministry of the country will cooperate to hold the exhibitions.



A scientific forum on human messages of the Islamic Revolution will also be organized in the week in cooperation with the Center for Dialogue among Religions and Civilizations of Sousse University and Khalduniyya Cultural Center.



Ayatollah Taskhiri,  President of the Supreme Council at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Hadi Khosrow Shahi will attend the forum.



The Iranian representative in Tunisia also announced that Iranian cultural institutes are ready to cooperate in the organization of Tunisian Cultural Week in Iran.
