In a post on the social media platform X, Albanese said on Friday that violent attacks were being reported throughout the West Bank, particularly in the northern region and Nablus Governorate.
She said that "terrorist gangs of settlers, backed by Israeli soldiers, are literally calling for bloodshed," describing the situation as increasingly alarming.
Albanese urged states to deploy a "protective presence" to shield Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank from attacks by Israeli settlers.
The appeal followed an attack by Israeli occupiers, backed by Israeli forces, on the town of Tell near Nablus that led to martyredom of four Palestinians, along with an Israeli settler and a soldier, according to Palestinian and Israeli authorities.
Earlier on Friday, several human rights organizations, including Israeli groups, called on the international community to intervene urgently to halt attacks carried out by Israeli settlers and the Israeli military against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
