Egyptian Quran Masters Invited to Iran

A number of top Quran masters from Egypt have been invited to Iran, a Quranic official said.

Vali Yarahmadi, head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization’s Quranic Affairs Center , told IQNA that the Quranic figures will be present in the 36th national Quran competition.
According to the official, the competition is slated to be held in the southern city of Shiraz on February 20-25.
He said the names of invited Quranic figures will be released in a press conference in the coming weeks. 
The national Quran competition is annually organized by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization in the fields of memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran.
Top winners of the contest are dispatched to international Quranic competitions in the Muslim world.
The 35th edition of the national Quran contest was held in the northern province of Mazandaran from January 28 to February 1, 2013.
