According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, the program was attended by Ayatollah Taskhiri, advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs and a number of Tunisian intellectuals and elites.
It was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in Tunisia in cooperation with Iran-Tunisia Friendship Associations, and the Center for Dialogue among Faiths and Civilizations affiliated to Sousse and Khalduniya University.
Peyman Jabali, Iranian ambassador to Tunisia, Sadeq Ramezani Golafzani, Iranian cultural attaché in this country, Fathi AL-Qasemi, Abdul Malik Al-Zaheri and Mohammad Sa’d, Tunisian figures, also participated in the forum.
The program was covered by various Iranian and Tunisian media such as Almutawasit TV, Al-‘Alam, Press TV and Al-Manar.
Human aspects of the two revolutions, in Iran and Tunisia, were the main theme of the forum in which a documentary on Imam Khomeini’s (RA) life was also screened.
A number of books about the Islamic revolution in Iran were exhibited on the sidelines of the forum.
