Dialogue among religions leads humanity towards a better world, an official with the World Council of Churches said.

Klara Amos made the remark in an address to the opening ceremony of an interfaith dialogue underway in Tehran, hoping that through constructive interactions and dialogue, the world will move toward peace, security and peaceful life.
The 7th interfaith dialogue between Iran and the World Council of Churches is being hosted by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization’s (ICRO) Center for Interfaith Dialogue in Tehran.
Ms Amos said dialogue helps followers of different faiths better understand their differences and similarities.
She stressed that interfaith dialogue should not be limited to these sessions but should spread to face-t-face talks with followers of religions.
Elsewhere in her remarks, the World Council of Churches official thanked the ICRO’s Center for Interfaith Dialogue for their hospitality.
