Supporters of the Popular Resistance Movement and other political parties protested against repeated Israeli incursions into the al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem in recent weeks, stressing the unity of the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli occupation.
Spokesman for the movement Khaled al-Azabat called for the restoration of Palestinian political unity in order to combat Israeli actions against the al-Aqsa compound.
Al-Azabat also condemned the ongoing killings against Muslims in the Central African Republic, denouncing what he called French support for the violence.
He called upon Islamic countries to act to stop the violence, and urged them to make French action to stop the killings.
