It described the massacres as anti-human, unjustifiable and a big genocide and said the hegemonic powers are behind this genocide.
The council called on all international organizations and institutions including the United Nations, the UN Security Council, the International Committee of Red Cross and Red Crescent, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the African Union as well as those claiming to be advocates of human rights to take immediate action to put an end to crimes against Muslims in the Central African Republic and return peace and security to the country.
It also urged Iran’s diplomatic apparatus as well as the Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly to use all their potentials for peace and security in the CAR.
The CAR has been facing deadly unrest since December last year, when Christian militia launched coordinated attacks against the mostly Muslim Seleka group, which toppled the government in March 2013.
Christian militia in the country has been raging violence against Muslims, many of whom have escaped the country to avoid being killed by the militia.
Christian attacks against Muslims in the African country have claimed the lives of hundreds of Muslims and forced about one million Muslims to flee their homes.
