Named Al-Kafil, the center has been established with the cooperation of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine, Al-Kafil website reported.
The center aims to help Muslim women learn more about the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Seerah of Ahl-lul-Bayt (AS).
Sayyed Aqil Abdul Hussein Al-Yaseri, an official with the Astan of the holy shrine of Hazrat Abbas (AS), said the Al-Kafil Center will promote Quranic and religious sciences among women.
He said Quranic education, presented there at three levels, will include teaching the reading, recitation and memorization of the Quran.
The three levels will take three and a half years to complete and those completing the courses successfully will receive certificates from the center, Al-Yaseri added.
