“Quran and Contemporary Issues” to Be Aired in Egypt

A program titled “Quran and contemporary issues” will be broadcast by Quran TV Channel of Egypt on March 18.

According to Bawabah website, Mohammad Abbas, lecturer of Al-Azhar University, will be the guest of the program produced by Ahmad Najm.

The expert will discuss the relationship between religion and nation with a Quranic viewpoint.

The channel will also broadcast a program on “the particular traditions of the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and their followers” with the participation of Abdul Basit Mazid, lecturer of Al-Azhar University.

Mohammad Uwaidha, head of the Quran TV in Egypt tries to invite eminent Muslim scholars and experts of Al-Azhar University to various specialized programs of the channel to clarify the contemporary issues and Quranic concepts.
