Preliminary Round of Quran Competition Underway in Kenya

The preliminary stage of a Quran competition at the national level has started in Kenya.

 The contest has been organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in the East African country.  

The start of this stage coincided with marking of Ayyame Fatmiya at Rasoul Akram Academy in Nairobi and majority of the students attended the program.
The Quran program started with a recitation of the Holy Quran by one of the Judges Sheikh Omar Mwamtunza , former teacher at the institution and now a  religious teacher at the  Jaffery Academy, Lavington, Nairobi .
The other Judge was Sheikh Ramadhan Balama the deputy Headmaster of Rasul Al Akram secondary School. Both Judges have a wide knowledge of religious education have been educated in Syria and the Islamic Republic of Iran respectively.
They have been judges in previous competitions and it is on this notes that the organizers found them competent .They will be judges all along the preliminary programs. 
Students of Rasul Al Akram have also been participating in inter secondary schools Quran competitions.
