Photo Exhibition of “Quranic Plants” Opens in Qatar

The first photo exhibition of “Quranic Plants” was opened on April 19 at the Katara Photography Society in Qatar.

According to Al-Arab newspaper, the exhibition has been organized by the Foundation of Education, Sciences and Development of Qatar Society and Katara Photography Society.
It was inaugurated by Abdul Aziz Al-Kuwari, Minister of Culture, Art and Heritage of Qatar.
A collection of art tableaus and photos by Mohammad Al-Hasil Al-Yafi’i, member of the photography society has been put on display at the exhibition.
The culture minister in an address said that it is one of the most beautiful exhibitions held in Qatar with a Quranic theme.
He added that the exhibition provides useful information about the plants mentioned in the Holy Quran and Hadiths of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Abdul Aziz Al-Kuwari invited the youth and students of the country to visit the exhibition.
Al-Yafi’i, the Qatari photographer, said that the idea of holding such a Quranic exhibition was proposed by Fatemeh Al-Khalifi, director of Qatar Quranic Garden.
According to Al-Khalifi, a booklet featuring the plants introduced at the exhibition will be published by the Quranic Garden.
She added that the photos showcased in the exhibition have been taken in Qatar and Indonesia.
