Jordan Int’l Quran Contest to Wrap up Monday

The 9th edition of Jordan International Holy Quran Competition for Women will come to a conclusion on Monday, May 5.

The closing ceremony will be held at King Abdullah Mosque in the capital Amman under the supervision of the Jordanian queen.
Winners of different categories will be awarded at the ceremony, to be attended by officials from the country’s Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ministry, including the Awqaf Minister Haeil Abdul Hafiz.
An official from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s embassy in Amman will also take part in the closing function.
Elham Hosseinzadeh represented Iran in the Quranic event competing in the category of memorization of 20 Juzes (sections of the Quran).
The competition had started in the Jordanian capital on Thursday, May 1.
