200 Quranic Martyrs to Be Remembered at Int’l Quran Exhibition

Head of Quran and Etrat Department of Tehran’s Basij Force announced that 200 Quranic martyrs have been commemorated at the 22nd international Holy Quran exhibition in Tehran.

 Rahim Qorbani said that arranging meetings of the Quranic society with families of more than 110 martyrs is also among activities of the Basij Force at the exhibition.

The pavilion of Quranic martyrs at the exhibition is presenting various cultural products about the country’s martyrs, he said, adding that the presented works include 25 documentaries, books, etc.

According to Qorbani, 114 recitations of the Holy Quran’s verses featuring self-sacrifice, martyrdom, patience and resistance prepared by the Holy Quran Supreme Council are on display at the exhibition for the first time.

He added that martyrs’ families have been invited to take part at the exhibition to provide an opportunity for better honoring the Quranic martyrs.
