A new game application allowing users to bomb Gaza strip has been facing growing criticism, which ended up in taking the game down from Google Play.

“This is a violation of human rights,” Iqra Iqbal wrote at the game review section online, adding that it was an “abomination”, The Independent reported.
“My beloved brothers and sisters are dying in Gaza and some stupid ignoramus decides to make a game like this.
The app was first uploaded on July 29 to be installed up to 1,000 times.
Facing huge criticism, Google took the game down from Google Play on Monday evening, August 4.
Rating it as “inappropriate”, users said the game was a “messed up game” and “disgusting”.
Saadat Ali said: “Request all to scroll to the bottom and flag this app as inappropriate to Google.”
Backlash has extended to the social media websites with many people taking to Twitter to voice their concerns.
User Elliott Clarkson wrote: “Google Play's approval process? Non-existent. So games like Bomb Gaza get through.”
It is not the only game available on Google Play that involves bombing Gaza, including "Iron Dome", “Gaza Assault: Code Red” that tells users to “secure the region” by taking control of “an Israeli UAV equipped with powerful weapons in an attempt to secure the region”.
A spokesman from Google said that the company does not comment on specific apps, but that it "remove[s] apps from Google Play that violate our policies."
The game comes as Israeli continued its four-week offensive against Gaza strip which started last July 8.
Israel occupation forces started a ground invasion of besieged Gaza, home to two millions civilian, on Thursday, July 17.
Health officials in Gaza said 1,868 Palestinians, most of them civilians, have been killed and nearly 10,000 injured since Israel launched its war on the besieged strip.
A total of 67 Israelis, all but three of them soldiers, have died.
