New Quranic Colleges Planned

Chancellor of the Quranic Sciences and Teachings University said the university plans to launch several new Quranic colleges across the country.

Hojat-ol-Islam Ahmad Ayedi said the new colleges will be opened as of the next (Iranian calendar) year of 1394 (March 2015- March2016), Tasnim news agency reported. He said they are planned to be established in provinces such as Qazvin and cities like Sari in north of the country. According to the official, currently there are 22 colleges of Quranic sciences and teachings in different provinces of Iran. He added that like in the previous academic year, colleges of the Quranic Sciences and Teachings University will admit 1500 students in the this year’s academic year.
