Students' Quran Competition Concludes in Pakistan

The final stage of a competition on Quran recitation and Tajweed principles in Quetta, Pakistan, was held on October 10.


According to IQNA, the competition was organized by the Quran Academy of Pakistan on the occasion of Eid Al-Qadir.

Top Quran reciters from among the students of public and private schools of the country participated in the competition.

Pakistan's Reciters Association (Anjoman-e Qurra’) cooperated with the academy in holding the competition, whose aim was encouraging the students of the region to participate in Quranic events.

Muhammad Ali, Sayyed Shakir and Sayyed Reza, Quran experts of the country, supervised the competition.

The winners will be awarded in a ceremony tomorrow, October 12.

Sardar Ishagh Khan School in the city will host the ceremony planned to commemorate the auspicious occasion.
