Milad Tower Ready to Host Int’l Quran Competition for Students

Managing director of Tehran’s Milad Power said preparations are underway for the tower to best host the 5th International Holy Quran Competition for Muslim Students.

 Farzad Houshyar told IQNA that the Milad Tower’s main auditorium, which can accommodate 1850 individuals, as well as 12 other smaller halls and a VIP section will be arranged to host the competition.   

There are also plans to facilitate transportation to and from the Tower complex for those interested to view the competitions, he stated. 
“We hope to be a good host for this great international event on behalf of the Municipality of Tehran”, Houshyar went on to say.
The fifth edition of the International Holy Quran Competition for Muslims Students is scheduled to be held in January 2015 in Tehran by the Iranian Academics' Quranic Activities Organization. 
The Iranian cities of Isfahan, Tehran, Mashhad and Tabriz hosted the previous four editions of the international competition, which is aimed at enhancing Islamic unity, paving the way for promotion of Quranic teachings and culture and providing a venue for interactions among Muslim world students.
