'Holy Quran & Ramadan' Seminar Opens in Riyadh
-- The Quran Memorization Society of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has launched a seminar dubbed "Holy Quran and Ramadan" concurrent with the beginning of the fasting month of Ramadan.
The official Saudi news agency quoted head of the society, Abdalrahman bin Abdallah Al-Hazlul, as saying that the Holy Quran and Ramadan Seminar will run for 18 days.
The seminar is held with the aim of promoting closeness with the divine book as well as boosting the skills of supervisors of holy Quran reading sessions in the Arab country.
Holding competitions on memorization of divine book in mosques affiliated to the society, innovation in management of Quranic meetings and holding educational courses l for supervisors of Quran sessions are among the programs of the seminar.
