IQNA’s Mission Is to Deepen Islamic Unity by Reflecting Country’s Quranic Achievements
Head of the Majlis’ Quran and Etrat Fraction said the International Quran News Agency can help strengthen unity in the Islamic Ummah by introducing Iran’s Quranic achievements to Muslims.
Speaking to IQNA, Dr Laleh Eftekhari referred to the news agency’s covering of Quranic news in 40 languages and said IQNA’s activities can play a significant part in acquainting nations of the world with Quranic objectives.
Stressing that the Quran is the axis of unity for all countries and faiths, she said promoting the culture of the Quran would strengthen Muslim unity in the world.
Dr Eftekhari noted that IQNA is an affiliate to the University Jihad Organization and should focus on its Jihadi and academic mission to be able to properly foster the Quranic culture.
She further pointed to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s accomplishments in different cultural and scientific fields and said Iran has also been successful in training Quran memorizers, interpreters and scholars.
