Coinciding with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Askari (AS) and on the eve of the beginning of the Imamate of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), it will include commemoration of the 40th day of the burial of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

The program will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday and continue until the Maghrib Adhan (call to prayers).

A group of Quranic scholars, reciters, memorizers and veteran Quran activists of the country are scheduled to take part in the program.

It will include recitations of the Quran by a number of top qaris, as well as the performance of Tawashih, and a speech by Hojat-ol-Islam Ojaqnejad, the custodian of the Jamkaran Mosque.

Also, there will be explanations and interpretations of verses from the Holy Quran and presentation of the teachings of the Quran and their connection with the culture of awaiting the Savior.

The program will be broadcast live on the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Quran TV.
