No one was hurt in the blast and terrorists failed to harm Ayatollah Sistani’s representative Seyyed Muhammad Safi, who was the target of the attack, Bratha news agency reported.
The blast, however, caused damage to nearby buildings. Security forces surrounded the site after the blast and are now working to arrest the perpetrators.
