Vali Yarahmadi told IQNA that the center will open before the start of the 29th International Quran Competition.
The international Quran contest is slated to open in Tehran on June 19, concurrent with the feast of Mab’ath (call to prophethood).
He said the center, among other things, would be tasked with presenting Quranic plans for Quranic and cultural centers in the holy sites across the country.
Yarahmadi stressed that with the center’s activities and programs, the holy sites should turn into cultural hubs.
