Necessity for Palestinians' Support Emphasized

At a meeting on April 12, Shia and Sunni Muslim scholars in India as well as Uttar Pradesh State's Muslims stressed the necessity of supporting innocent Palestinian people.
Erfan Ahmad, head of the organizing committee of the program said that the meeting was attended by the scholars and intellectuals such as Maulana Wasi Hassan Khan, eminent preacher and president of Wathiqah University, Seyyed Salman Nadwi, eminent Sunni scholar, Maulana Khalid Rasheed, the head of Firangi Mahal, Qutbuddin Qaderi, imam of Bhakta region as well as a number of Hindu intellectuals.
He noted that the participants called upon the Indian government and the United Nations to make the world hear the voice of the oppressed Palestinian people.
Papers condemning the evil policies of the US and the Zionist regime were also presented by the scholars at the program.
