The Dar-ol-Quran Kareem Center of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) has proposed that Iraq’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research add a Quran course to the universities’ curricula.
The suggestion was made at the closing ceremony of a series of Quran education programs held in Iraqi universities last week.
The programs were meant to encourage university students to get further acquainted with the Book of God, the Dar-ol-Quran Kareem Center said in a statement read out at the closing ceremony.
The center also thanked all the Quran activists who made efforts for holding the Quranic programs.
