A Quranic session was held in the French capital of Paris on Monday, April 16.
It was organized by the Iranian Cultural Center at Al-Ghadir Quranic center, IQNA’s correspondent reported.
The program began with recitation of verses from the Holy Book followed by a speech about Tajweed and Quranic melodies by eminent Iranian reciter Mehdi Pouladi.
After Quran recitation by a French reciter, a Quranic competition was held among the participants. Winners of the contest were awarded by Iranian Cultural Attaché Seyyed Mohammad Tabatabaee.
The Quranic session continued with further Quran recitation and concluded by Adhan (call to prayer) and congregational prayer.
It was part of the programs of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ‘cultural week’ in France.
Other programs of the cultural week include an art expo and a carpet exhibition.
