Quranic Activities in Seminaries to Expand

Head of the Center for Coordination, Development and Promotion of Quranic Activities said would take a giant leap this year in terms of conducting Quranic activities.
Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi said in recent years there has been planning for development of Quranic activities in seminaries and with the financial support to be provided based on the 0.5 percent budget plan, Quranic programs will increase in seminary schools.
Establishment of Quranic research centers, founding specialized print and digital libraries, supporting specialized Quranic centers, supporting Quranic dissertations, holding Quranic sessions and supporting specialized Quranic journals are among the Quranic plans for seminaries, he said.
Quranic deputy of the culture ministry went on to say that special attention will be given to promoting Quranic activities in women’s seminaries, particularly in the areas of Quranic education, memorization of the Quran and Quranic research.
