Islamic Economy Education Seminar Held in Russia

A seminar on education of Islamic economy was held on April 21 at the Islamic University of Russia.
According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the program was arranged by the University’s Islamic Trade Department.
It was attended by the university’s lecturers, experts, and students, representatives of the Office for Muslims’ Affairs in Tatarstan and Kazan Municipality’s officials.
Galim Validov, dean of the department, Rinat Abbasov, expert of Islamic economy and management, Seedah Shah Quiva and Mohammad Muradov, other experts of the university and Rustam Noor Aliyev, director of the International Affairs Section of the university made speeches at the program.
Pointing to the Holy Quran’s verses and Nabavi Hadiths, the participants stressed the role and status of Islamic economy and trade in development of a society.
The need for establishing specialized organizations in order to develop Islamic economy, trade and labor in Tatarstan were also among the main themes discussed at the program.
