A new mosque named 'Al-Lulua' opened yesterday, April 22, in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates.
According to IQNA’s branch in the UAE, the mosque launched its programs and activities after the call for Zuhr (noon) prayer.
The launching ceremony was attended by a number of local officials as well as 800 worshipers who performed congregational prayer at the mosque.
The mosque is located in Al-Sharqiyyah region covering an area of 4825 square meters and can accommodate over 2000 worshipers.
There are more than 170 mosques in Al-Sharqiyyah region in the UAE.
