Speaking to IQNA, Mohsen Ashouri stressed that the Islamic world media ought to follow the example of Hazrat Zahra (SA) in opposing oppressing and supporting the oppressed.
Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Ethiopia added that Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) political approach was founded on her Ismat (infallibility). “There is a direct link between faith in God in its highest form, namely Ismat, and refusing injustice and oppression. That is why the holy Infallibles (AS) were martyred because of refusing to concede to oppressive rule.”
After the demise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), she shouldered the responsibility to defend the grand heritage of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), what pompous warrior men failed to do, Ashouri underscored.
He added that it should be the Muslim world media’s strategy to spread awareness and enlighten minds in the era of Islamic Awakening.
Ashouri said another important lesson that women, in particular, can learn from Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) is that in political participation there is no distinction between men and women. “Today, in this juncture in time when the Islamic Awakening is ongoing, women in Muslim countries should take Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) example and protest against oppressive rulers.”
