Sultan Qaboos Competition for Holy Quran Memorization

The 22nd edition of Sultan Qaboos Competition for Holy Quran Memorization was held at Sultan Qaboos Mosque in the Wilayat of Nizwa yesterday.

The competition included five levels, namely memorizing the Holy Qur'an as a whole with reciting, memorizing 24 consecutive parts of the Holy Quran with reciting one part, memorizing 18 consecutive parts of the Holy Quran with reciting one part, memorizing 12 consecutive parts of the Holy Quran with reciting one part and memorizing six consecutive parts of the Holy Quran.
The number of the participants in the competition in the Wilayat of Nizwa stood at 15 male and female. The number of those who qualified for the final qualifications in all governorates of the Sultanate stood at 142 male and female competitors.
