Hijab and Ifaf Encyclopedia Being Compiled
An encyclopedia of Hijab and Ifaf (chastity, modesty) is being compiled at the Reyhanat-un-Nabi Center in the holy city of Qom.
A team of Hadith sciences experts are working on the project to compile the encyclopedia, Hojat-ol-Islam Jolfayi, director of the project’s research team said.
Speaking in a meeting with grand Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani, he hoped that the work will be a step forward in creating a complete Haidth and Quranic-based source on Hijab and Ifaf.
He added that it will greatly help scholars and researchers who want to carry out studies in the field. “The work can also play a role in developing the culture of Hijab and Ifaf.”
According to Jolfayi, the encyclopedia will feature articles on issues like pathology of Hijab, obstacles in the way of development of Hijab, quality of Hijab, and various dimensions of Ifaf.
