“Scientific Theorization of Islamic Economics” to Be Reviewed

The book “Scientific Theorization of Islamic Economics” is to be reviewed in a session that is scheduled to be held on May 13 in the Faculty of Economics in Tehran University.

The session is organized by the Department of Economics in Seminary and University Research Center in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics in Tehran University and Surah Journal an affiliate to Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization’s Art Office.
Hassan Sobhani, professor of the Faculty of Economics in Tehran University, and Adel Peighami, professor of the Faculty of Economics in Imam Sadeq (AS) University will be among the experts of the forum.
The book has been authored by Hojat-ol-Islam Hassan Agha Nazari, the top seminary researcher in 2010 and academic board member of the Department of Economics in Seminary and University Research Center.
It has been published by Seminary and University Research Center and Samt (the center for researching and composing university textbooks in the humanities) Organization.
The author maintains that the book seeks to explicate the formation of Islamic economics using a research-based methodology.
The reviewing session will be held on May 13 from 1.30 pm to 3 pm in the Faculty of Economics in Tehran University.
