According to IQNA’s branch in Africa, Eric Opoku, deputy of the region’s governor said that Muslims of the country should cooperate and help in holding such programs in various Christian regions of Ghana as gloriously as possible.
He said that the forum will be held with the participation of a number of eminent religious figures, officials of Islamic institutes and organizations as well as a large number of Muslim citizens.
Opoku added that the four-day program will be supported by the governorate of the region.
Ghana is a West African country in which Muslims make up about 20 percent of the total population.
