According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, the program began with Quran recitation by an eminent Qari of the city and continued with speeches by Salih Bilgiç, cleric of the region.
In his speech, he said that the program was held to introduce proper approaches for holding effective and helpful courses on teaching the Holy Quran.
Also speaking at the forum, Belgin Aydin, head of Religious Education Office of Turkey's Diayant (religious affairs) Organization noted that in order to provide all groups of people with proper educational services, particularly in Quranic fields, the organization plans to apply various methods and techniques.
He added that Quranic courses have been planned by the organization for children aged 3-6 and 6-9 years old with the aim of getting the preschool children acquainted with religious issues.
