Speaking at a news program on Quran TV, Hojat-ol-Islam Hamid Mohammadi added that the theme of the third edition of the festival will be ‘religious lifestyle’.
He said the festival will begin concurrent with the birth anniversary of the Holy prophet (PBUH)next year, and the closing ceremony will be held on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory.
According to the official, next year’s festival will aim to promote religious style of life through art and cultural products.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi noted that the theme of the festival’s second edition, which concluded last week, was ‘humanity, Quran and art’.
A total of 110,000 artworks were submitted to the secretariat of the festival, of which 60,000 were accepted in the competition section, he went on to say.
