Poetry Contest on Holy Prophet Underway in Azerbaijan

A poetry contest on the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) has been held by Caucasian Muslims Office in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the competition has been organized in cooperation with Writers’ Union, Azerbaijan Association for the Youth Dialogue, the Council for Religious Affairs of Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan and Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The contest began on February 1 and that those interested to attend the function should send their works to the religious office by April 1.
Three top poets will be awarded at a ceremony to be held on April 19.
