“Martyr Motahhari’s Philosophical Thoughts” Paper Deadline Extended

The deadline for sending papers to Martyr Motahhari’s Philosophical Thoughts International Conference was extended to April 9.
According to the secretariat of the international conference, February 20 had been announced as the previous deadline for sending abstracts but it was extended following requests made by some seminary and university lecturers.
Ebrahim Alipour, executive director of the conference, said that papers should be written in Persian, English or Arabic languages and that abstracts, in 150 words at most, should be sent via email to icmpv@motahari.ir by April 9.
The international conference will be held on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the publication of the scholar’s book entitled “Principles of Philosophy and the Method of Realism” in November.
It will be organized by Martyr Motahhari Cultural-Scientific Foundation in cooperation with Supreme Assembly of Islamic Wisdom and the themes of the forum will be divided in two general and specific categories.
The general category will include “Islamic philosophy, Allameh Tabataba’i and Martyr Motahhari”, “the status of Principles of Philosophy and the Method of Realism in modern philosophical thought”, “Motahhari: an influential philosopher (why and how)”, “the status of mysticism in philosophical thought of Martyr Motahhari”, “philosophical innovations of the scholar in the principles of philosophy and commentary on Manzumah”, etc.
Theology, logic, epistemology and ontology will be the themes to be investigated at the specific section of the forum.
The deadline for sending the full papers will be May 22 and June 22 respectively for those residing in Iran and abroad.
