100 Quran Award Contestants Leave for Makkah

All participants of the ‘Immortal Language’ competition have gone to the holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
The Umrah trip, which began on Thursday morning, was part of a bonus offered by Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, to all 100 competitors.
Adviser to the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs Ibrahim Bu Melha said that though only 12 participants have been chosen as top winners, all 100 contestants have travelled to Makkah and Madina for Umrah.
