“Islamic Handicrafts and Art Features” Int’l Forum Planned
An international forum on features of Islamic handicrafts and arts will be held on May 5 to 9 in Tehran and Tabriz.
According to IQNA’s ICRO branch, the forum was planned at a meeting in Istanbul with the presence of Mohammad Reza Dehshiri, research and education deputy of ICRO and Khalid Irn, director general of Research Center For Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA).
The forum will be jointly organized by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), IRCICA and Tabriz University of Islamic Arts.
40 scholars and intellectuals from Islamic countries and 20 experts of international organizations will take part at the event.
The papers selected for the forum will be translated and published in Persian, Arabic and English.
