He made the remark in a meeting with Kuwait’s Minister of Justice, Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Sharida Al-Mosherji.
Hosseini said Waqf (religious endowment) has roots in Iranians’ religious culture and has been well organized.
“There are many Mowqufat (endowed data-x-items and sites) in Iran and we are ready to share our experiences in this regard with Kuwait.”
He said Iran’s experiences in the field of Waqf and promotion of Islamic teachings include establishing cultural centers in mosques.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the culture minister attached importance to the development of arts in the Muslim world based on religious content.
He said Islamophobia and presenting a distorted image of Islam is one of the West’s strategies and stressed that the Muslim world needs to train artists who can defend Islam through the medium of art.
Hosseini also voiced Iran’s readiness for cooperation in the field of Hajj and said Hajj should be a factor of enhancing unity in the Muslim world.
The Kuwaiti official for his part urged for using Iran’s experiences in religious fields and stressed the need for expansion of ties between the two countries.
Hosseini visited Kuwait to take part in an exhibition titled “Wonders of the Orient”.
