Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization Training Over 100,000 Quran Memorizers
Head of the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization said the organization has trained over 100,000 memorizers of the Holy Quran.
Mehdi Qarasheikhlu told IQNA that 200,000 individuals had signed up for Quran memorization courses held by the organization, and that some 105,000 of them learned 1 Juz (part) of the Holy Quran by heart.
He said the courses were held as part of the national Quran Memorization Plan in cooperation with the Association of Grassroots Quranic Institutes.
He highlighted the organization’s programs for development of Quran memorization in the country, saying that it has a plan for organizing Quran memorization activities and granting specialized degrees to those who learn the Holy Quran by heart.
Qarasheikhlu said educational programs are among other activities of the organization to promote memorization of the Quran.
He noted that these programs, that include memorization courses, have been received well all over the country.
