Islam Awareness Week at University of Baltimore

The first annual Islam Awareness Week is underway at University of Baltimore on April 8 - 12 with a variety of activities and sessions to enlighten and inform the campus about Muslims.

On Monday, April 8th, a program called “Introduction to Islamic awareness week?” was held on the Student Center 5th floor Bogomonly (4:00pm-6:00pm). Participants talked about Muslims in America and their plight to integrate into society, with mutual understanding, of religion, with respect, and acceptance, not tolerance.
A frequently asked questions session about any question pertaining to Islam and Muslims was held on Tuesday, April 9th.
Today, Islamic Art and Entertainment/ Mile stone for girls in Hijab/ Open Mic is going to be held at the Student Center Cafe (7:30pm-9:00pm) and at night entertainment, knowledge, and viewing of Islamic Art programs are on the list.
Jummah pray on Friday, April 12th is the ending program of the Islam Awareness Week at the University of Baltimore.
